Sebbholmen EcoCamp

Sebbholmen offers you unique accommodation in small cottages and Tentsile wood-tents in the archipelago of Southwest Finland. Walk on deer paths under old pine trees and breath the clean and fresh sea air. The glimpses of the sea between the trees invites you to the shore, and to paddle out with a kayak or a canoe. In a tent hung in the trees, you fall asleep to the hum of the wind and wake up in the morning to the magnificent forest landscape.

Tentsile accommodation

Sebbholmen Tentsile tents are suitable for up to three people. The tent is pre-set up and the necessary equipment for the night, ie sleeping bags and liners, pillows and sleeping pads, are waiting for you in the tent. There is a shared barbecue area and an outdoor dry toilet in Sebbholmen. The EcoCamp's own seaside sauna is subject to a fee.

The reception is located in Rosala Viking Centre, and the tent is available from 3.00 pm. Check-out is by 12.00 noon. If the reception is not open for your scheduled arrival time, please contact us in good time to agree on a different time.

The basic price of the tent is 110,00 euros / day including accommodation for one person. The basic price of a week-long stay is 450,00 euros.

Weather reservation. During a storm / thunderstorm, we can arrange other accommodation in Rosala, if vacant.

Location

Sebbholmen EcoCamp is located on the beautiful Rosala island in the municipality of Kimitoön. The island is near the Archipelago National Park and the EcoCamp only a short walk away from the fishing village Rosala, founded in the Viking age. You can find the free-of-charge car ferry M/S Aurora's timetable here or information about guest mooring here. You are of course also welcome to arrive to Sebbholmen by bicycle and foot or paddling.

In the nearby Rosala Viking Centre you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner during summer months. You can also explore the Viking village and exhibitions, and try different Viking activities. It's also possible to take a day trip to Bengtskär lighthouse from Rosala in the summer. You can find information about services on the islands of Rosala and Hitis in the village Walkabout brochure, or tips for the entire Kimitoön area on Visit Kimitoön.
